Coffee Cup Tutorial from Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop ( SAB )

Hello Everybody!!!
First of all, I apologize for the delay in getting you the tutorial.  It was a crazy week.  ok let's get to it.  As shown on our first Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop I made a cute Coffee Cup Holder.

I know you have probably seen them all over other Stampin' Up! blogs.  My friend Cathy Fluellen gave me one a couple of weeks ago when we met for lunch.  I loved them so much I ordered the mini coffee cups and lids from here.  Cathy also shared where she got the original tutorial ( Becky from Inking Idaho).  Now here is my tutorial:

Start out with a sheet of cardstock (I used Pool Party) measuring 4" x 6 3/4" then score all 4 sides at 1" like shown below:
Then cut as shown in picture above.
I added stick strip to the center of the two edges and
then the two ends of the box go onto the stick strip.
(make sense?) Then you just assemble the box.
Next is the handle:  I cut a strip of Pool Party measuring 1 3/4" x 11"
Score at 1 1/2", 5 1/2" and 9 1/2" fold in half and add some stick strip to the two flaps on the bottom (these will secure to the box).
to make the handle I used the 1 1/4" circle punch (you can use oval or scallop)

Now its time to decorate your box with your choice of dsp
(I used 133521 Sweet Sorbet DSP, The DSP Pack you get free when you spend $50 or more)
you will need:
2 pieces of DSP measuring 4 1/2" x 3/4"
2 pieces of DSP measuring 1 3/4" x 3/4" attach to your box, add some ribbon or other embellishment or make a tag & attach to box.
for the two mini coffee cups I cut out two strips of the same Sweet Sorbet DSP but used the back side color, measuring 7 1/2" x 1" and attach with sticky strip around coffee cups
(you will need to adjust the paper to fit the coffee cups).  And now to fill them up with chocolate!!

Hope you liked my first tutorial!!! = )
Thank you again Cathy for my cute gift and idea!
